Rohit Sood , Assistant Professor at Lovely Professional University, Phagwara, Punjab (India), Department of Finance, has an extensive academic and professional experience of more than 12 years. He has worked with Motilal Oswal financial securities, Mumbai for 6 years and switched to academics afterwards. He has completed Master’s in Business Administration from ICFAI University and achieved professional excellence and recognition through various awards and certificates while working in the industry. He has also qualified UGC-NET lectureship in management. He has also qualified online certification course in Financial Institutions and Markets, and Introduction to Investments from NPTEL, IIT Kharagpur and Madras. His areas of interest are Security Analysis and Portfolio Management, Financial Modelling, Equity Research, Corporate Valuation, Derivatives & Risk Management. He is a life member of Society of FSP and Global Risk Community.
